What equipment does your aquarium need to keep ornamental fish?
To raise ornamental fish, equipment required for your aquarium are,1. Protein skimmer
Due to metabolism of ornamental fish and aquatic plants, water in the aquarium will gradually be polluted and deteriorated. Installing a filter/ protein skimmer is a great way.
2. Aeration pump
The aeration pump is a special equipment for aquariums. The aerator pump can continuously send air into water through the compression tube. When gas passes through water, oxygen in the gas dissolves in the water, increasing oxygen content in water, and at the same time, as small bubbles rise, carbon dioxide in the water body can be brought out of water surface.
3. Lighting equipment
Generally, aquarium fish are kept outdoors or indoors with sufficient light, and no lighting equipment is needed. But now that aquarium is used to raise ornamental fish, lighting equipment is indispensable. One is for the needs of viewing. Under the illumination of the light, aquarium has bright and clear sceneries, and body color of the fish is brighter and brighter due to effect of light reflection. Second, it can supplement light for aquarium with insufficient natural light to meet light needs of water plants and fish. At the same time, lighting colors are very rich now, and the soft and colorful lighting can add many psychedelic scenes to the aquarium, which is very ornamental.
4. Heater
Since most of the ornamental fish come from areas with higher temperatures, generally suitable water temperature for rearing is 24-28°C, and the temperature difference should not exceed 2°C. When water temperature in the aquarium does not reach the required water temperature, an electric heating device is used.
5. Thermometer
There are two kinds of commonly used glass thermometers and electronic thermometers.
When choosing a thermometer, you should choose easy-to-observe according to your needs and economic strength. A thermometer with clear display and easy installation and use.
6. Common tools
Including various specifications of nets (fishing nets), fish basins, water weed clamps, suction pipes, moss removers, dechlorinators, magnetizers, feeders, water storages, etc.
